The Best Concert I've Ever Had

Image
Lollapalooza 2019: Bring me the Horizon OK so, Bring me the Horizon is my all time favorite band. They have come to Chile two times, and every time I've had the opportunity to see them live. The last time was at the Lollapalooza festival in March, 2019. I found out about the band around 2014. At that time, Bring me the Horizon had a metalcore style. I started by listening to one of the songs from their fourth album, the song is called Sleepwalking , then I started listening to each of the songs from their four albums and I became a fan of the band. Nowaday, their style of music is complicated to define, they mix a bit of electronics, rock, pop and other genders of music... a rare mix but it elevates you. A curious fact is that on the day of the festival, when the songs from the last album of that time (the second-last currently) were played, very few people knew the lyrics. Obviously, like his crazy fan, I knew EVERY song. The atmosphere there was amazing. Everybody yelled and mos...

A country I would like to visit

Image
United States  Since I started watching anime, I wanted to visit Japan. But, analyzing it well and thinking 'bout my goals and interests, the truth is that the country that I definitely want to visit is the United States. Maybe it will sound stupid, but u wanna know why? Because I love the NBA lol. My dream is to see the Lakers play live. See King James in action with Anthony Davis and the entire team. Since I was a little kid, I love basketball and they're my inspiration. My best friend's grandparents have lived in the US for a year, and whenever they speak on FaceTime, they show us how beautiful the country is. There, the economic situation is very good compared to Chile, they have good economic stability despite being people without higher education, working in their trades. Low-income people are those who earn $31,000 a year in the US, which would be 24 million Chilean pesos. It is a very high amount of money, considering that the average annual income in Chile is 7 mi...

My dream job

Image
Dream to Live I guess I've never really had a dream job per se. When I was a kid, I wanted to be a lot of things: an astronaut, a forensic doctor, or a filmmaker. I might've even considered being a journalist, just a bit. Those careers seemed cool to me as a little future adult. Now, working at McDonald's and studying journalism, I think my idea of a "dream job" has evolved into something beyond just the job itself. My dream job is one where I can be around friendly people, not feeling like I'm back in school all over again (do you understand what I'm talking about?) . It's a job that allows me to grow and learn new things every time I put on that worker badge. Even though it leaves me dead tired at the end of the day, I wake up the next day feeling motivated because I genuinely enjoy my job. I'm really tired of this society I was born and raised in, where adults work in jobs they hate just to, hopefully, survive. I want to love my job, whatever it...
